By creating an account or using LitFlo ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including beta testers and paid subscribers.
LitFlo is a personalised academic research digest service. We fetch publicly available paper metadata from PubMed and OpenAlex and deliver a curated daily or weekly email digest based on your research preferences. LitFlo does not host, reproduce, or distribute full paper text.
You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your password. LitFlo is not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorised access to your account.
During the beta period, access requires an invitation code. Sharing your code is permitted, but LitFlo reserves the right to revoke access at any time.
After the free trial period, continued use of the Service requires a paid subscription at the price listed on our website at the time of purchase. Payments are processed by Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account page — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

All content, design, code, and materials on LitFlo are owned by LitFlo and protected by copyright law. Paper metadata and abstracts remain the property of their respective publishers and authors. You may not reproduce or redistribute any part of the Service without written permission.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that paper recommendations will be accurate, complete, or suited to your specific research needs. LitFlo is a tool to assist discovery — it is not a substitute for your own academic judgement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, LitFlo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you by email if the changes are material. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
